01 Overview

theLab (the “Service”) is operated by Robotforge Limited (“RobotForge”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit trythelab.com (the “Site”), contact us, book a conversation with our team, or otherwise engage with theLab.

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

02 Information we collect

Information you provide to us

When you contact sales, request a demo, book a meeting, subscribe to updates or otherwise correspond with us, you may share your name, email address, phone number, company name, role, and any information you choose to include in your messages or about your business and goals.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, and where you have given consent, we and our analytics providers may collect technical information such as your device and browser type, operating system, IP address, approximate location, referring and exit pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies & analytics).

Information from third parties

Our analytics and lead-intelligence providers may associate your visit with company-level or contact information and provide it to us to help us understand which businesses are interested in theLab. We may also receive information from scheduling and communication tools you use to reach us.

03 Cookies & analytics

On our production website we use the following third-party technologies, and—except where strictly necessary—only after you accept them through our cookie banner:

• Google Analytics — measures site traffic and how visitors interact with our pages.
• PostHog — product and web analytics used to understand usage and capture errors. Autocapture and session recording are disabled.
• Apollo.io — identifies visiting companies and, where configured, associated contacts, and powers our meeting-scheduling links.

When you first visit, we show a consent banner. No analytics or marketing technologies load until you choose Accept. You can decline and still use the Site, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. If you decline after previously accepting, the page reloads to unload these providers.

We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, we treat your visit as a decline and do not load analytics or marketing technologies. Note that declining does not automatically erase cookies or data collected by these providers before your choice; see the vendor policies in Third-party services to manage that data.

• Respond to your inquiries and schedule and conduct sales conversations.
• Provide, operate, maintain and improve theLab and the Site.
• Understand how the Site is used and measure the performance of our content.
• Identify businesses that may be interested in theLab and tailor our outreach.
• Protect the security and integrity of the Site and prevent misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

05 Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for analytics and marketing cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests in understanding site usage, securing the Site and conducting business-to-business outreach; performance of a contract or steps taken at your request (for example, responding to a sales inquiry); and compliance with legal obligations.

06 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers. With vendors who process information on our behalf, such as website hosting (Netlify), analytics (Google Analytics, PostHog), and lead-intelligence and scheduling (Apollo.io), under agreements that limit their use of the information.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, regulation or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of RobotForge, our users or others.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Some use of analytics and advertising cookies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out of this activity by declining in our cookie banner or by enabling Global Privacy Control.

07 Third-party services

The Site links to third-party services and uses third-party tools that have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to review their policies:

08 Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy—for example, to respond to and follow up on your inquiry, maintain our business records, and meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Analytics data is retained according to the configuration and defaults of each provider. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

09 Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10 International transfers

We and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you reside, including countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

12 Children's privacy

The Site and theLab are intended for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be made prominent on this page. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
